Hanqi Li received her Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Science and Technology from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), Beijing, China, in 2025. She was an intern student at the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, during 2024 and 2025, where she worked on topics related to optoelectronics and silicon photonics. Hanqi is currently an MS/PhD student in Electrical Engineering at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Thuwal, Saudi Arabia, and a member of the Photonics Laboratory.

Mohammed Obidallah Alotaibi

I am Mohammed Obidallah Alotaibi, joining the KAUST Photonics Lab. I hold an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and a B.S. from Umm Al-Qura University. Previously, I served as an Instrument Engineer at Aramco and currently lecture at Taibah University. I am passionate about advancing photonic technologies in energy and sustainability applications, and I look forward to contributing to the lab’s research in optoelectronics and integrated photonic systems.
