KAUST Distinguished Professor of Applied Mathematics and Computational Science Dr. Peter Markowich has been named a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA). He will officially be inducted as a member at the organization's annual inauguration ceremony in early 2023.

Yuri Ashrafyan

Yuri Ashrafyan is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow working with Professor Diogo Gomes at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Education and Early Career Yuri graduated from Yerevan State University with a Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2018. After that, he worked as Assistant Lecturer before joining KAUST in 2019 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Prof. Dominik Michels in the Visual Computing Center (VCC). He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Professor Diogo Gomes in the CEMSE division. Research Interest He’s interested in his research in Spectral Theory
