Alexandra Aguiar Gomes has been a university educator since 1996. Her area of expertise is optimization, with current interests in the mathematics of decision-making for sustainable development and the mathematics of generative artificial intelligence. Alexandra finds joy in simplifying mathematical concepts, helping her students discover the practicality of mathematics in their fields.
